Lung Cancer and Prevention

 Lung cancer is a serious disease characterized by unrestrained cell enlargement in tissues of the lung. If we not take this as a serious matter this spreads on our lungs and all other parts of our body. Finally that cause to our death.

Most cancers that, known as primary lung cancers, are starts in lung are carcinomas that derive from epithelial cells. The most common cause of cancer-related death in men and women is lung cancer and is responsible for 1.3 million deaths annually. The most common symptoms are shortness of inhalation, coughing (including coughing up blood), and weight loss etc.


Lung cancer can be seen on CT scan and chest radio graph .The diagnosis is set with a biopsy. This is usually performed by CT-guided biopsy. Tobacco Smoking is the main cause of the lung cancer. Non smokers have a 15% of chance of lung cancer. The main causes of that are air pollution, secondary smoke, asbestos etc.

Avoiding risk factors and rising protective factors may help to prevent lung cancer. Avoiding risk factors such as smoking, being overweight and lack of exercise may help to prevent certain cancers. Increasing protective factor such as quitting smoking, eating a healthy food, and exercising may also help prevent some cancers.
Most common treatments are surgery, chemotherapy and radio therapy. These treatments are generally better at getting to cancer cells that have spread to other parts of the body. We can talk to doctor or other health care professional about how we might lower your risk of cancer. Health care and tips are also helps to the prevention of cancer.

Cancer prevention trials are used to study ways to lower the risk of developing certain types of cancer, conducted with healthy people who have not had cancer but who have an increased risk for cancer. The purpose of some cancer prevention clinical trials is to discover whether trial people take can prevent cancer. These may include eating fruits and vegetables, exercising, quitting smoking, or taking certain medicines, vitamins, minerals or food supplement.
